Tyian Battle is a licensed real estate professional with Coldwell Banker Realty who brings a distinctive blend of development expertise, nonprofit leadership, and firsthand investment experience to every client she serves. A proud product of the Housing Authority of the City of Pittsburgh First-Time Homebuyer Program, Tyian understands the power of homeownership personally. After purchasing her first home, she strategically expanded her portfolio by acquiring two additional investment properties transforming her initial purchase into a foundation for long-term wealth building. She is the Founder of Half The Battle LLC, a minority women-owned real estate development firm committed to building quality, attainable housing. Through her company, Tyian is currently leading a $1.9 million affordable housing development in partnership with key financial and housing stakeholders, including Federal Home Loan Bank of Pittsburgh and Pennsylvania Housing Finance Agency, along with additional public and private partners. Tyian also partnered with Massaro Construction Group on a $5 million development project, further solidifying her presence in Pittsburgh’s real estate and construction landscape. She is actively developing in the historic Hill District the very community where she was raised aligning personal legacy with professional impact. Beyond development, Tyian serves as the Founder and Executive Director of ACH Clear Pathways, a nonprofit arts and youth development organization operating out of the Kaufmann Center. For more than 15 years, she has led community-centered programming that strengthens families and neighborhoods. As a commercial facility owner, investor, nonprofit executive, and developer, Tyian understands real estate from multiple perspectives buyer, seller, landlord, builder, and strategist. Whether assisting first-time buyers, sellers, or investors, she believes real estate is more than a transaction it is a pathway to generational stability and community transformation.
