This Lovely home at 3105 S. Broad Street, was known as the "Stadium District", has been in the same family for its entire seventy years. The father of its current owner, Ann, bought it in 1950 when this tight-knit neighborhood south of Packer Avenue was just beginning to be build. Ann has lived in this home for all of her life and it provided the perfect setting to raise her triplet children. The neighborhood --close to shopping, the subway, and of course the sports complex-- was always lively and interesting to her and her family. Her neighbors could be found out on their patios. She liked not having to worry about parking, having a space of her own in the back of the home and the easy availability of parking in the front cul de sac. She watched her children scamper across the front lawn when they were young, and when they got older she would sit with them on the patio sometimes and have meals cooked on the grill by her daughters. Christmastime her large bay window was the perfect setting for a large wreath, which always stood out. The home has lots of light in the front room and the kitchen, which overlooks the driveway. The kitchen is big enough so it doesn't feel cramped when you sit to eat a meal. The formal dinning room is large enough to host large family gatherings. There is a room large enough for a piano in the finished basement which her son would fill the house with music.
