Coneville Ridge Forest is 318+/- acres of professionally managed forest with an attractive viewshed, and ideal terrain for management operations and recreation. The property is in northcentral PA in western Potter County, Hebron Township, just south of Oswayo. Access is via deeded right-of-way off Highway 44 leading up a gravel woods road past seasonal and full-time residences. This continues through adjacent forested parcels to a ridgeline overlooking the Allegheny Plateau. Private and industrial timberland and state game land dominate ownership in the area. With an elevation range of ~2,320 feet to ~1,760 feet, the terrain is characteristic of the surrounding dissected highland with a flat to rolling ridge top and moderate to very steep slopes. This variable terrain supports a range of tree species including red oak, red maple, black cherry, and sugar maple. The property is surrounded by the main and South Branches of Oswayo Creek, a designated Class A Water stream for trout.
