After 10+ years as a special education teacher, I decided it was time for me to make a change to a field where I could use my skills to help not just the students, but their whole family! 5 years ago, while looking to sell our house, my husband and I hired our first real estate agent because she was someone we knew; not because we liked her business strategies. After two weeks – I was beside myself because I didn’t think she was doing enough. I knew I could do better! A year later, I proved that to myself by obtaining my real estate license while maintaining my teaching career and being pregnant. Now, I can do much better for all of my clients.
