As an Oregon native and graduate of OSU, I launched my real estate career in 1999 in metropolitan Portland helping people buy and sell property in the place I get to call home. I began at a small locally owned real estate firm and within a couple of years was offered a Managing Principal Broker position at another firm. In the years since, I’ve served as a Managing Principal Broker for up to 95 brokers and 4 branch offices. In addition to brokering thousands of real estate transactions, coaching and training agents, I’ve been actively involved in helping the industry evolve through membership with several boards and committees in OREF, PMAR and OAR in various capacities from member to Chairman to State Director. These experiences gave me a wealth of industry insight and developed skills I use to attract and coach top real estate professionals as well as led to me being named PMAR’s Managing Broker of the Year in 2012. The following year, I came to Coldwell Banker Seal to manage the Lake Oswego office and was chosen to guide the company through our 2017 brand change to Coldwell Banker Bain. I believe we are a more cohesive unit with our northern branches because of the shared Bain name – each office has their own unique culture and experiences but are now integrated into a single power group with a global reach. Recently, I moved to our Portland Uptown office where we have a stellar group of REALTORS® whose passion for their work and customer satisfaction drives them to succeed every day. Uptown has a culture of family that runs deep, as all the Brokers support and encourage each other to their personal best.
