About Jef

I was born and raised in Pendleton growing up in a real estate family. I’ve been around it my entire life. My father was a true leader in the industry and brilliant broker and business man. He owned The Farley Company Investment Real Estate. We lost him in 1985 at the age of 50 to leukemia. He greatly influenced my decision to get into the business. I got my B.S. in Business with an emphasis in Real Estate from the University of Montana in 1988. I began my career in 1991 with the Lutz Snyder Company in Portland. In 1994 I moved back to Pendleton and joined Whitney and Associates. I became a partner in ownership of the company and added management to my responsibilities in 2007. I completed purchasing the company from my partner and friend Jim Whitney in 2019. In 2021 we rebranded to Coldwell Banker Farley Company. Every day I love living here more. Eastern Oregon is an undiscovered place of colorful people, natural beauty and a laidback lifestyle. I am passionate about this place and the importance of being an ambassador for our community and the real estate industry.
