About Mayra

Mayra Puerta is a dedicated and bilingual REALTOR® with Coldwell Banker Select, proudly serving clients across the Oklahoma City metro area and surrounding communities. Born in Puerto Rico, Mayra grew up along the East Coast and attended high school in Central Texas, where living in a military town opened doors that would later shape her global perspective. Inspired by that experience, she went on to serve overseas as a government contractor—spending one year in Iraq and another in Kuwait—where she developed adaptability, resilience, and an appreciation for connecting with people from all walks of life. Before entering real estate, Mayra built a rewarding career in patient care as a Certified Ophthalmic Assistant. During that time, she was honored to be part of a clinical research team conducting studies focused on diabetic retinopathy and macular degeneration, advancing her skills in precision, empathy, and communication. Working closely with patients during some of their most vulnerable moments gave Mayra a deep understanding of trust and compassion—qualities that now define her work as a REALTOR®. Her transition into real estate came from a desire to be part of one of life’s most joyful milestones: homeownership. Mayra finds it truly rewarding to help individuals and families through one of the biggest and most meaningful purchases of their lives, ensuring that every client feels guided, supported, and celebrated along the way. Fluent in Spanish and deeply connected to her community, Mayra takes pride in serving both English- and Spanish-speaking clients with care, honesty, and professionalism. In her spare time, Mayra enjoys serving at her local church whenever she can and staying active in her community. Most of all, she loves being a proud soccer mom—cheering from the sidelines and embracing life’s everyday moments with gratitude and joy.
