About Barbara

I am a native Oklahoman and have devoted my life to helping children and families find their forever homes! Prior to becoming a Realtor ®, I served as the Executive Director of Meals on Wheels in Norman, providing meals to the elderly and disabled while allowing them to remain in their homes for as long as possible. Several years later, I moved to OKC and worked for the Deaconess Foundation. One of our main projects was to raise funding for Deaconess Home, an organization helping children find their forever home with a caring and loving family. In addition, I spent 14 years as the Executive Director of Calm Waters Center for Children and Families whose mission is helping children and families in their grief journey due to significant loss. With the death or divorce of a parent, often it means a change of residence. Whatever life event might take place, we have a need and a desire for that one special place where we can go to feel loved and to feel safe. It's called home, because home matters. After serving for more than 22 years in the non-profit sector, I have been fortunate to have the foundation to better serve the needs of my clients.
