Hi, my name is Lynn. I’m a Realtor with Coldwell Banker. My wife and I set out on a journey in 2019 to purchase a home. We found a home that we really loved, made a strong offer on,and was left baffled when it was rejected “without reason,” per our Realtor. There were no other offers on the table at that time, that was something we asked our Realtor to verify before we drew up an offer. It was only left to speculate we didn’t get the house because of one reason… We were two married women. It was the worse feeling. I decided then, and there, I would get my real estate license, and fight for people like us. People who are marginalized, looked down on, and cast aside. Everyone who can become a homeowner, deserves to be a homeowner regardless of Age, Skin color, Religion, Gender, Sexual Orientation, National Origin, Disability, or Parental status.
