About Jamie

About Jamie Jamie Turner spent most of her childhood growing up in a rural area but has lived in Columbus since 2003.  She loves the city culture and is passionate about the diverse community she lives in.  Jamie is an honest, loyal individual with a strong moral compass that has a true lust for life and love for people.  Her best qualities are her charismatic nature, determination, and ability to be a great listener. Jamie has worked in Healthcare for the last 13 years.  The first 6 years were at Riverside Methodist Hospital on a cardiac unit but she has worked in ICU trauma for the last 6 years.  Being a nurse has helped to develop communication skills in a high stress environment.  Being in a field of work faced with life or death situations has taught her about time management and working hard under intense pressure   She is a leader on her unit and helps to orient and mentor new nurses.  Through fostering her ability to be a good mentor to other nurses she has discovered through the Myers-Briggs personality traits she is most dominate in "Extraverted iNtuitive Feeling Perceiving (ENFP)" ENFPs are both "idea"-people and "people"-people, who see everyone and everything as part of a cosmic whole. They want to both help and to be liked and admired by other people, on both an individual and a humanitarian level. This is rarely a problem for the ENFP, as they are outgoing and warm, and genuinely like people.  In the workplace, ENFPs are pleasant and friendly, and interact in a positive and creative manner with both their co-workers and the public. ENFPs are also a major asset in brainstorming sessions. Over the last few years she discovered her passion is real estate.  Her and her husband have bought three rental units and have embraced the whole experience.  It has helped gain valuable knowledge which will benefit you in finding that perfect home.  She recently rehabbed one of the rentals and through this has learned about the "nuts and bolts" of a house.  Her ability to mentor clients through the home buying experience is endless.  Her patients and determination will help you find your dream home.  She knows what it takes, from what a "good" investment is, to the process of getting into the rental business and having a book of resources to depend on. On a personal level she knows how to help you in the home buying process. Jamie also has some experience in design and can help make small inexpensive suggestions to get the best price for your home.  Her husband Chris Turner is the owner of "Turner's Barbershop and Shaving Parlor" located in the Short North.  When he opened the shop she designed the space into what it currently is today.  She has the resources and skill it takes to market your home for the highest price.   Let Jamie help you because she knows what it takes to help you through this exciting process!
