About Ellen

We were weekenders in the 1980s and ‘90s, and became full time residents in 1999, relocating from New York City. I have extensive business experience in marketing, sourcing and merchandising after a 30 year career in the fashion industry. I saw all the possibilities in a home - no matter the condition! After the purchase and renovation of our Catskill farmhouse, I continued to preview properties for our friends who were also looking for solitude in the mountains. Thus, my passion for browsing through listings began a new career and my association with Coldwell Banker Village Green Realty. The transition from city dweller to rural resident has made me keenly aware of the choices one needs to consider in making sure the selection of a home meets all needs and expectations.
