About Maria

Maria Caifa, a resident of Lake Grove, graduated from the Cooper Union in NYC. This is one of the premier colleges in the country for Architecture and Design. Upon graduating Maria started working in the publishing field as a graphic designer and art director. Over the course of Maria’s career she has worked for Town & Country Magazine, NY Times, and Conde Nast publications. Working for these prestigious magazines and newspapers, while professionally rewarding, was not conducive to family life. Once Maria started a family she transitioned to developing her own business. As a graphic designer Maria has been successful in working with such clients as Saks Fifth Avenue, AOL, Barnes & Noble Online and Disney Online. In addition to graphic design, Maria also found success in interior design, working with several private residences. Maria Caifa joined Coldwell Banker American Homes because she believes the organization, headed by the Finn family, represents the professionalism she is used to working with. Maria brings the same level of commitment to excellence that allowed her to excel with distinction in the design field.
