As of January 2024, Frederick Warburg Peters became the President Emeritus of Coldwell Banker Warburg. Peters, a 40+ year veteran of the New York real estate industry, has made a commitment to integrity, professionalism, and expertise the calling card for Warburg, the company he started in 1991 and which bears his middle name. A recipient of numerous awards from The Real Estate Board of New York (REBNY), he serves on its Executive Committee of the Board of Governors. His roles at REBNY include serving on the Board of Directors - Residential Division, as a member of the Board of Governors, and as the Vice President for Residential Brokerage on the Executive Committee. In 1996, he was awarded the Henry Forster Award for a lifetime of achievement and contribution to the residential industry; in January 2010, he received the prestigious Kenneth R. Gerrety Humanitarian Award for meritorious service to the community; and in May 2023, Peters received The Eileen Spinola Award for Distinguished Service, honoring his significant contributions to the REBNY community in education, ethics and professional services. He is the only broker in New York to have received all three awards. Peters was also the first real estate practitioner in the country invited to write a regular column for Forbes and remains one of the most quoted experts on real estate in both Manhattan and national media.
