About Rene

Rene is the quintessential Albuquerque. Having lived in New Mexico for the past 20 years, she is positive that there is no better place in the world to live than the Land of Enchantment. Rene is at a time in her life where she can live anywhere, but Albuquerque is where she chooses to live. "I love the friendliness, the sunny blue skies, and the amazing red sunsets. It's the best place to be!" Real estate has been a part of most of her life. When a young girl, her dad would buy and refurbish banked owned properties before it was trendy. Every weekend she would work alongside her dad who was a general contractor rehabbing the homes. She had re-roofed several homes, replaced water heaters, painted, tiling, and she has done a variety of plumbing jobs. Her dad jokes that she is fearless. Before becoming a realtor, Rene was a Montessori teacher while her children were young. As the kids grew, so did Rene's passion for real estate...the challenge and fun of helping shape the brilliant minds of children shifted to a passion for buying and selling the perfect homes. Past clients remain friends and still come up to her to give hugs, thanks, and praise. Rene lives in Sandia Heights with her three children and cat, Sterling, who showed up in her backyard and didn't want to leave. She is learning to Tango and enjoys Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. When Rene has free time, she always has a home improvement project going on around the house.
