Originally from San Francisco and a proud resident of Los Ranchos de Albuquerque for more than eight years, Gene brings a genuine passion for the natural beauty, cultural diversity, and vibrant lifestyle that define New Mexico. He loves sharing his local knowledge from scenic parks and hiking trails to favorite restaurants, growers’ markets, and hidden neighborhood gems throughout Albuquerque and beyond. Gene truly embodies the spirit of the New Mexico lifestyle and serves as an enthusiastic ambassador for his community. Before discovering his calling in real estate, Gene built a successful career in magazine publishing. As publisher of CADENCE, the world’s largest computer-aided design magazine, he worked with teams and clients throughout the United States, gaining valuable experience in sales, marketing, communication, and negotiation. After years of domestic travel, he transitioned to real estate to stay closer to home, finding a perfect fit that allows him to combine his business acumen with his love of people and place. Now a REALTOR® with over 20 years of full-time experience, Gene has earned a reputation for integrity, professionalism, and high-energy, five-star service. When he is not helping clients, Gene enjoys tending his vegetable and flower gardens, caring for his sheep, chickens, and rescue pup, Ruffles, or entertaining friends with his favorite Italian dishes. He loves hiking the local acequia trails, golfing, kayaking, exploring local restaurants, and traveling, especially to sun-soaked beaches and Italy.
