About Cristina

Welcome! I'm Cristina Colacci, the Property Gal! I am Bergen County's only Certified Licensed Interior Designer AND Real Estate Associate. I live in Hillsdale with my husband, Nicholas and our two boys, Isaac and Alex. I'm not a New Jersey native but when I moved to the Pascack Valley area, I immediately fell in love. Having grown up in a 1906 Victorian house in Idaho, I developed an appreciation for the charm and architectural details of older homes. I decided to pursue Interior Architecture and Design in college and have been practicing Interior Design now for about 15 years. I then became a real estate agent after I realized many of my design clients weren't able to find their perfect homes without a little remodeling... or that many of them were updating their homes in order to get more money when they sold! I combine my negotiating talent with my design skills and I now specialize in solving some of the issues that older homes have for my clients before they sell their homes. Many times, even with little or no budget, small updates and staging is all an older house needs in order to appeal to today's young families. My goal is to preserve the integrity of Bergen county's beautiful historic homes by giving them a new lease on life while getting my clients the most money when they sell their homes. Solve. Stage.
