Michael Delaney's career in Real Estate began in 1999 when he purchased his first home....a rundown Three-Family House in Montclair, New Jersey. Michael purchased this home practically with his last dime left after closing. During the course of the next year, Michael became immersed with the homes renovation and restoration which all led to his love for Real Estate. Since 1999 Michael has expanded his real estate portfolio by purchasing seven other homes including 3 additional Multi-family homes in New Jersey, 3 Condominiums in Florida and 1 Coop in New York City. Michael has an eye for locating properties that need TLC and turns his properties into the most desirable home in the neighborhood. Michael expanded his Real Estate career in 2004 when he acquired his New York Real Estate license. He began working for Douglas Elliman which is one of the most prestigious firms in New York. Michael enjoyed great success selling Condo's, Coops, Townhome's and Brownstones for the next 7 years at Douglas Elliman. In 2011 Michael was recruited to work for the #1 firm in the city, Brown Harris Stevens, where he still is employed today. In 2014 Michael became a dual licensed agent acquiring a license in New Jersey where he currently is employed at Coldwell Banker, Mountain Lakes. As a resident of Essex County, Michael is well known and highly respected selling in Essex, Morris, Union, Passaic and Bergen Counties. In both States Michael is dedicated to acquire new customers, counsel clients and identify purchasing needs to deliver relevant real estate investments. Michael is no stranger to dedication. He grew up competing as a nationally ranked, D1 gymnast for over 20 years.
