About Franco

I was born in Detroit, Michigan and I went to parochial schools through High School. Upon graduation, I choose to attend Hillsdale College, a liberal arts college where I focused on Business, Law and Spanish. I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts with a concentration in Accounting and a Minor in Spanish. I started my career at a Big Eight accounting firm, Ernst and Young in Lansing, Michigan. Shortly after I started, I married my wife Jill and we decided to move to Chicago. I then worked as an accountant for Solo Cup Company, and held various management positions at Tribune Company. I started as an senior accountant and progressed to several roles of increased responsibility over ten years. My strengths in these roles were meeting monthly closing deadlines for reporting and integrating technology to more efficiently do the necessary work. Then my work career took a volunteering turn when I went to work as controller for Make-a-Wish of Illinois. I then stayed home to raise our two young sons, being a stay at home dad for several years. Moving from Chicagoland to Long Valley in September 2008. I’ve been a resident of Long Valley in Morris County and we immediately fell in love with the county and our town. I got my Real Estate license in 2009 and have been licensed and serving families for ten years. Utilizing my financial background of 20 years in accounting, I am able to support my clients in the many financial conversations that come along in a real estate transaction. My strengths include negotiating, honesty and constant communication. I go above and beyond for my clients in assistance when necessary. This has included home staging, marketing plan and start to finish support of home sale/purchase. I pride myself in being honest and committed to my clients. I use the organizational skills and the financial skills I learned in accounting to support the many financial questions that arise in a real estate home sale and purchase.
