As a fourth generation Hunterdon County resident I can truly say I would encourage anyone to consider this rural area with a suburban touch. Hunterdon gives you a secluded feel yet you have every store, restaurant, and recreational activities you can think of. Hunterdon County is only an hour from NYC or Philadelphia with easy access to major highways. You can be lying on the beach at the Jersey shore or skiing in the Pocono Mountains with just an hour’s drive. Hunterdon is considered the crossroads of the American Revolution—rich in history from the early 18th century. George Washington absolutely slept here! Hunterdon is the perfect place for antiquing. Come to the quaint town of Clinton to enjoy a dinner sitting along the river with a perfect view of the well known Red Mill or to shop in one-of-a kind boutiques. Lambertville along the Delaware River shares a love for art and culture with New Hope, PA. An evening by the river could include a play at the recently renovated Bucks County Playhouse, a bite to eat at Marsha Brown a renovated 19th century church, or dancing the night away at quaint nightclubs. Hunterdon County can suit anyone’s lifestyle--you can live in a cute apartment in town, live in a quiet development or you may choose to live on a farm just minutes out of town.
