About Ingrid

Broker-Associate Real estate in my career and I LOVE what I do! I believe that real estate is a service industry and I am committed to helping my clients have a successful real estate experience. Selling or buying a home is not only just about the property, but also letting clients know what the town and surrounding area have to offer. I enjoy sharing my knowledge in all fields- be it relocation; new construction; antique homes or general sales. All of my business is from personal referrals and over the years, I have worked with many sellers and buyers - I have found it interesting to learn about their lives and am happy that I was able to play a role in meeting their real estate needs. Yes, real estate is a service industry and I LOVE what I do ! Locally I worked as a reporter for the Milford Cabinet.- our local weekly newspaper. From working in the field of journalism, I learned to ask questions; follow leads and LISTEN! I always wanted to get as much information as possible and make sure that what I was reporting was accurate. When I did not know something, I researched things to make sure that I understood the situation. All of these skills have helped me in my real estate career. In working with sellers while previewing properties, I observe and ask questions. Then follow through if there are unanswered questions. I take thorough notes regarding the property features and ask what the owners love most about their home. Throughout the whole listing process- I LISTEN. With Buyers, listening is also a key factor. I let Buyers tell me their and their family's needs and wants. I share my philosophy with them that finding a home is the process of elimination - if you haven't seen it, you can't eliminate it! I ask for feedback on properties we've seen and work towards finding that 'perfect' home! I am committed to helping my sellers and buyers have a successful and positive real estate experience. Personal Background My husband and I moved to New Hampshire from NYC in 1971. We both left good jobs in Manhattan since we decided that we wanted to raise our family in a small community. My husband established his own architectural firm and I retired to 'motherhood'! We raised our son and daughter in Amherst and became active members of the community which we saw grow from 4000 to 12,000! My philosophy is that 'you grow where you are planted' - and we became active as board members of the Jack & Jill Kindergarten; the Amherst Congregational Church; the Souhegan Valley Nursing Association; the Parkhurst Place Retirement Community to name a few. My family and I have loved living in New Hampshire- we have enjoyed living in a small town with good schools and many family activities. There is always something to do and it is wonderful having significant hiking and skiing areas and the 17 miles of the Atlantic seacoast to explore. Being the 1st in the nation primary state and having the largest legislative body in the country, New Hampshire politics are never dull! For culture and sports events we have the Manchester Verizon Center and if all else fails, we are only an hour to Boston. I love touring the various areas and sharing my knowledge of New Hampshire - it is a GREAT Place to call HOME!! Communities I Serve New Hampshire - primarily Southern, but have traveled throughout the state and will preview properties for Buyer clients. Communities where I focus are Amherst, Bedford, Brookline,Hollis, Milford, Merrimack, Mont Vernon, Peterborough and Wilton
