Your Home-Grown Realtor® Mollie Worth Calhoun learned about real estate by observing one of the best in the business: her mom. “I have been around real estate most of my life,” Mollie explains. “My mother, Mary Joe Worth, worked as a Realtor® in Southern Pines until she was 82. I share in her passion for helping clients with one of the most important financial decisions of their lives.” Mollie happily adds that many of her clients end up as neighbors and friends. To best serve her home buyers and sellers, Mollie works on the national award-winning team at Coldwell Banker Advantage in Southern Pines/Pinehurst, a great place to put down roots. A third-generation Clemson tiger, Mollie earned a Bachelor’s degree in Financial Management and then headed to Washington, D.C., where she worked for a financial newswire service in the Securities and Exchange Commission. “I soon learned that while I am very good with numbers,” she says, “I am better with people.” Mollie transitioned into fundraising and event planning and worked for an interior designer while raising her two Eagle Scout sons. “I have a very good eye for design and architecture and enjoy helping people see the possibilities of turning a modest home into their personal paradise,” she says. Most recently, Mollie honed her skills as a paralegal in Chicago and Pinehurst, delving into the areas of civil litigation and family law. “This provided me with experience in dealing with deeds, equitable distribution of assets, and contracts,” says Mollie, who is also a licensed Notary Public. In her free time, Mollie enjoys cooking and entertaining, traveling, playing golf, tennis and pickleball, and she is also a master gardener.
