KC’s background is both extensive – and impressive. He grew up in South Korea, where he graduated from Hankuk University of Foreign Studies in Seoul with a degree in Political Diplomacy. For a decade, he worked for LG Chemical in government affairs and purchasing strategy. He moved on to a position in information and communications with a cable television company, where he oversaw business planning, marketing and operations for more than 10 years. KC continued his education in economics at Yonsei University Graduate School and ultimately became CEO of Korea Cable Telecom (KCT). After retiring, he started an online and offline mountain gear retail store under the TongOutdoor brand in Seoul. But KC longed to be with a daughter, a U.S. citizen, and another daughter, son and wife. “After moving to the United States with my family,” he says, “I wanted to use my expertise to become a real estate broker who can provide long-term consultative value. During my career, I have gained a sense of accomplishment from quickly identifying the needs and wants of my customers, seizing them as business opportunities, and proposing services to realize business results.” When not working, KC enjoys a variety of outdoor activities – from camping and hiking in the mountains to trail running in Southern Pines Park close to his home.
