About Margaret

The happening town of New Bern, North Carolina has been my home since 1995. I could tell as soon as I arrived that New Bern was a special place. I've raised two kids, lived in three homes, and made countless friends in New Bern. I can't begin to tell you how wonderful life is in a place where the pace of life is just the right balance between relaxed and bustling, where the people are small-town friendly, and where not a day goes by without a gorgeous view somewhere. I can be honest when I say that New Bern just gets better and better. As a Cape Cod native raised on the beautiful St. Simon's Island, Georgia, I can't imagine living too far from the water—and with two rivers meeting in New Bern, along with the beach less than an hour's drive away, it's safe to say New Bern is charmed.
