About Mary Kate

Over the course of my career, I have spent over 15 years as a critical care nurse, 10 years as a realtor in Upstate New York, and 7 plus years as a broker in the greater Charlotte area. I also worked many years as an exclusive agent for high end builders as well as venturing into homebuilding ourselves. I have always been drawn to fields that require teamwork, are fast paced and require a high level of expertise ,while relying on accurate and informed decisions. My husband and I have been working together in real estate for the past 5 years and we always strive to make your home buying and selling experience one that is virtually stress free by always listening to your lifestyle needs, wants and desires. We are able to be very available, hands on and always exceed expectations. I also have expertise in helping buyers in the medical field as they have special issues with hectic schedules, needs for proximity to their work and sometimes complicated financing challenges. I am not only able to find that perfect home, but to match you with a lender with expertise and specializes in addressing unique financing needs. My husband and I have lived in the Charlotte and the Lake Norman area for 13 years and love to share our expertise with our clients. There are plenty of options in this area and I would love to share my insider knowledge with buyers looking to make that move or lifestyle next step. We love our life in this area, with the proximity to beaches and the mountains as well as the upscale dining, cultural and sporting events while also being close to excellent medical care and hospitals and of course The Lake!! In my free time I enjoy volunteering with the American Heart Association, which is a good way to use my cardiac background while also giving back. My husband and I have chaired Heart Balls and Auctions while also remaining involved with St Jude Children's Research Hospital. My other main loves are our 8 beautiful and amazing grandchildren that keep us young and are truly the lights of our lives!
