About Chris

Chris Pape began his career as an award-winning video producer, traveling internationally to create visual stories for a wide range of audiences. After marrying Dana in 2004, he embraced the challenges of military life and frequent relocations, adapting his career along the way. Noticing a lack of resources for male military spouses, Chris founded Macho Spouse, an online platform supporting that community. His significant contribution to military families and veterans earned him recognition as U.S. Air Force Spouse of the Year in both 2014 and 2015.​ In 2024, CBS News and CBS Mornings reported on the legacy Chris left as a male military spouse. (CBS NEWS). Those years of moving sparked his interest in real estate, where he developed a strong appreciation for communication, strategy, and client advocacy. Today, Chris brings a creative, detail-oriented approach to real estate while enjoying time on the lake with Dana and being an active member of the Charlotte Handball Club.
