About Chris

Chris's professional life began as a multi-award-winning video producer whose work took him around the world creating video projects for many audiences. Marrying Dana in 2004 also meant marrying into the military lifestyle, a challenge for anyone looking to maintain a steady, active career. Not one to shy away from a test, Chris quickly adapted to his new surroundings and eagerly embraced the many obstacles life as a military spouse creates. After working for several years within the military family model, he quickly realized that the predominant military spouse population, and hence resources created for that population, were primarily female oriented. So, Chris decided to bring a male perspective into the mix. He paused his career in video production and created, "Macho Spouse," an online resource and informational hub for male military spouses. Chris was recognized in both 2014 and 2015 as the Air Force Spouse of the Year for his significant contribution to military families and veterans. Chris gleaned the traits of outstanding REALTORS® along the way and learned first-hand how important a steady stream of communication between all parties involved was to the success of every deal. In 2022, Chris's experience within the Lake Norman waterfront real estate market earned him the distinguished Guild designation from the Institute for Luxury Home Marketing. During his down time, Chris enjoys playing handball at the downtown YMCA and spending time with Dana on the lake or sampling some of the many beers our local breweries provide.
