About Vickie

Vickie Irby is a native of Halifax County, NC, and her family has owned property on Lake Gaston since 1962. This has allowed Vickie the opportunity to enjoy over 50 summers on its beautiful shores. She began her career in real estate in 1997, behind the scenes so to speak, while serving as the Association Executive Officer for the Lake Gaston Board of REALTORS (RVLG) and as the administrator for their Multiple Listing Service (MLS). She assisted in implementing the code of ethics committee, and served as its first mediator for the RVLG Association. Her multi-tasking skills enabled her to hold these positions for over 13 years while also serving as the Parish Administrator for All Saints’ Episcopal Church in Roanoke Rapids, NC, which she retired in 2017 after 20 years. She is very involved with helping the local homeless community. Vickie is a volunteer for Room at the Inn (RATI), which is a local program for homeless women and children, and she also serves on the board of the Halifax Coordinated Assessment Group.
