Real estate runs in Chelsea’s blood. Her family has been shaping the Outer Banks market since the 1980s, involved in everything from sales and development to managing one of the top vacation rental companies on the OBX for nearly 35 years. Some of Chelsea’s very first jobs were behind the scenes of the industry—labeling mailers, assembling check-in packages for guests, and updating rental photography during the off-season. Those early experiences gave her an insider’s understanding of the market, the rental industry, and the heartbeat of Outer Banks real estate. Beyond real estate, Chelsea and her husband, Jason, are dedicated to hospitality and the art of creating unforgettable experiences. Together, they own and operate the iconic John's Drive-In on Beach Road—famous for its dolphin boats, classic cheeseburgers, and legendary milkshakes. Their love for food and community also extends to their catering company and tasting lounge, Scratch Kitchen + Catering, where Chelsea thrives in curating warm, welcoming experiences. When she’s not helping clients or working alongside Jason, Chelsea is soaking up life on the Outer Banks with her young daughter and their senior French Bulldog. She’s an active member of the community, serving on the committee for Couture by the Shore, an event that directly benefits the Outer Banks Relief Foundation—a cause close to her heart.
