About Mary

“Hi! I am a Hillsborough native and I absolutely love this town. I love it so much, I moved away and came back! Hillsborough is very special to me as a local hub for art, culture, and community - not to mention the bustling city of Durham nearby. I would be thrilled to show you what makes our area unique, and to help you find the perfect place to live within this community.” Born and raised in Hillsborough, Mary attended UNC-Chapel Hill and graduated in 2018 with an undergraduate degree in biology. A lifelong lover of nature and outdoor activities, she moved to the Adirondack Park in New York to work in outdoor education and enjoy all the state park had to offer. In 2021, she moved back to the triangle to be closer to family and immerse herself, again, in the Hillsborough community. Since then, she has been hard at work fostering connections with her Hillsboroughian neighbors, hiking along the Eno River, and caring for her sweet rescue cat, Elm. Mary is highly organized, professional, and eager to help you find the home that will best meet your needs.
