About Sarah

Integrity, High Standards, Dedication, Transparency & Exemplary Communication are the constants when it comes to Sarah, both personally and professionally. These qualities are innate to who she is and have traveled with her throughout her life, which has led her to a very successful real estate career. Sarah graduated from Hickory High School in 2002. Throughout her time there, she held multiple service oriented positions, including sports team management, Student Council Secretary and President of the Juniorettes - a club of young women who work together to meet the needs of their communities through volunteer service projects. From there, Sarah attended Meredith College in Raleigh, NC where she made the Dean's List and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree. She double majored in Human & Mass Communication and minored in Sociology. Sarah co-chaired the Big Sis/ Lil' Sis Program, organized numerous events and served on several committees. At graduation, Sarah was surprised and recognized with the "Service & Dedication" Award, an award voted on by her peers for her service and dedication to her class throughout their 4 years together. After college, Sarah jumped into a management career in Charlotte, NC at an Assisted Living Facility where she helped oversee everyday function of the facility and its residents. That job led to a position at the company's Corporate Office located back home in Hickory, NC where she was responsible for corporate event planning and marketing for all of the company's assisted living facility locations throughout North Carolina. In 2009, Sarah obtained her real estate license after a nudge from her mother, Judy Stansfield, a top producing agent at Coldwell Banker Boyd & Hassell. Sarah is proud to say that she was trained by the best in the business! It's important to love where you live! After experiencing 5 corporate moves state to state growing up, Sarah has a true appreciation and love for this area of the country. Out of all of the places she's lived, she will tell you that Hickory, NC is her favorite, hands down. To her, Hickory has that nostalgic small town atmosphere and offers sweet southern hospitality with an overall excellent quality of life. Sarah has helped numerous clients move to this area from other areas of the country with success. She knows what it takes to represent her clients when they can't physically be here for the process because the distance is too great, but must have a home ready for them to move straight into when they arrive. Sarah also has experience with helping clients sell their current home and purchase their new home simultaneously. While Sarah has a true passion for real estate, she feels that her greatest achievement in life is her family. There is nothing she is more proud of than her husband and her sweet son. In her down time, Sarah enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends, volunteering at her son's school, traveling, art, listening to music, home renovation projects and attending dance fitness classes & burn boot camp.
