About RUXTON

I am a native of Henderson NC; after graduating Vance Senior High School I attended Campbell University 4 years where I graduated with a BS in Business Administration. After a brief banking career with the former NCNB Bank in Greensboro I returned to my hometown and immediately began work on the NC Real Estate license requirements receiving my NC Salesman’s License in 1988, after two years in sales and additional class time I passed and received my NC Broker’s license. I have served as Broker in Charge of John M. Foster Real Estate for several years as I transitioned into developing residential subdivisions it took we away from traditional listing and sales of existing homes and ultimately closing the John Foster RE office. At that time developing subdivisions became my focus while working from a retail sales lot managing John Foster Homes a family business engaged in the sale of manufactured / modular homes from 1997 to just recently closing the business in July of 2018. I have been active as a buyer’s agent through Bobbitt Real Estate Services since 2016. I am excited to join a knowledgeable team of brokers with Coldwell Banker Advantage as I transition my sales career with a full service agency once again. Locally I am a member of First Baptist Church Henderson. I serve on both the City of Henderson and Vance County Board of Adjustments and a member of the Henderson Vance Economic Development Commission. I am married to my wife of 32 years Karen Foster Bobbitt. We have three wonderful daughters Madison 22, Clara 19, and Margaret 17.
