About Jonathan

I grew up in Chattanooga, TN and enlisted in the Marine Corps at the age of 19. During my time in the Marine Corps, I was trained as an F-18 Airframes Mechanic, met my wife, Leah, and began my passion for homeownership on a personal level. After 22 years of this, our final Permanent Change of Station (PCS) brought us to MCAS Cherry Point. I was fortunate to be able to retire after 24+ years with a loving wife, two amazing children and a huge jumpstart towards our future as a result, in part, of our personal real estate decisions. As a retired Marine and now REALTOR®, I understand what it means to relocate yourself and your family. More importantly, I understand how home ownership and property investment are one of the best ways to help your hard-earned money build a nest egg and overcome the effects of inflation. We had the opportunity to live in several locations around the United States during this time. My wife, Leah Mick, and I enjoyed dabbling in real estate by purchasing and selling homes along the way, coupled with Leah obtaining her license in Virginia after we purchased our first home in 2003.
