About Steven

Born and raised in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area, I was an engineer with the U.S. Department of Agriculture for nearly 15 years. When my parents developed chronic health problems, I became their primary caregiver, and developed a home health care agency which allowed other families in the neighborhood to care for elderly loved ones in the comfort of their own homes. Nine years ago, I moved from Washington, D.C to the Charlotte area, and it’s been a nice change. In this unique location, we can have the excitement of big-city living without sacrificing the comfort of feeling like part of a small community. When I first moved here I was working in hospital patient safety, but when a friend encouraged me to try real estate, I was hooked. For several years I have volunteered in the refugee community, assisting families in their adjustment to this area and the purchase of their new homes. It has been a great privilege to me to connect with these families and to become a part of their lives.
