About GWEN

Gwen has lived in university communities all of her adult life and Chapel Hill has been her home since 1975. A native of Tennessee, Gwendolyn Lamb holds a BA degree from Vanderbilt University, an MAT from Harvard University and JD from the University of North Carolina School of Law. Gwen loves Chapel Hill and the surrounding communities largely because here she can readily indulge her passion for music and travel. In music, she is both participant and spectator, having sung with the Choral Society of Durham for many years as well as being an avid concertgoer. Her travel adventures enable her to visit far-flung family and friends and to pursue an abiding desire to see the world. Gwen presents special qualifications for a real estate professional. In addition to more than twenty years of brokerage experience, she practiced real estate law for several years until family needs required schedule flexibility. This background honed her skills in problem-solving and negotiation. Attention to detail, patience, commitment and a desire to assist people in the realization of dreams and goals form the basis of her real estate brokerage. As an example of her patience, she once showed 85 different houses to one Buyer before a decision was made. That's not ideal but sometimes it's what it takes and Gwen will do what it takes to meet her clients' needs.
