About Shelly

Raised in A ‘Real estate” family in Winchester, Virginia. Shelly Day has always been interested in the concept of building, buying, and the selling of houses. Although at first she took a different path, she graduated from Radford University with an Art Education Degree. Beginning her long standing profession as a Visual Arts teacher, she first taught Middle school for five years near Roanoke VA and earned her Masters in Art and Liberal Studies at Hollins University. In 2001 she moved to the North Carolina Coast to continue teaching Art at Ashley High School. After twenty years of teaching she decided to get into the Real Estate Profession like so many others in her family. Because of her background in the education field, Shelly will make the process of purchasing or selling your home easily comprehendible and enjoyable every step of the way. Shelly resides in New Hanover County with her two children and her two cats. Because she is a “local” in the area she is familiar with all events within the schools, the arts, sporting events, beach activities, as well as recommendations for local businesses. Shelly will be trustworthy, competent, and dedicated help with your real estate needs.
