Dry Bayou Farm is located two miles southwest of Crowder, in one of the best duck hunting areas of the Mississippi Delta. The Coldwater River National Wildlife Refuge is situated three miles southeast of the farm. This farm has everything you are looking for in a developed waterfowl property. There are 488 acres in cultivation, nearly all of which is setup for straight levee rice production. Five irrigation wells provide ample water for crops as well as flooding duck holes. All of the farmland has been improved. Additionally, the duck hunting improvements have been upgraded. There roads built around the farm for easy access and a boat ditch has been dug from behind the shop all the way to the big duck blind. There are multiple natural areas to hide around the main duck hole that are easily accessed. Several of the fields are easily flooded and can be hunted using layout blinds or skid blinds. There is a large pole barn for storing blinds, boats, etc. A portion of the pole barn has been enclosed for storing your side by side or other necessities. The home was recently renovated and updated. It contains around 1,400 square feet and has an attached carport. This farm is known locally for holding ducks all winter and with it being setup for rice production and duck hunting, it should continue to produce good waterfowl hunting opportunities for the next owner.
