About Corissa

Corissa Sutton is a Top Bronze Producing first generation real estate agent born and raised in Minneapolis. She is a former 20+ year Banking, Finance, Fraud, and Financial Crimes Investigator. As a REALTOR®, Corissa strives to use her license not only to buy and sell real estate but to teach, educate and encourage her community. She strives to work in the space of equal fair housing and to educate renters empower more homeowners. Although she can help anyone buy and sell, Corissa primarily serves first time home buyers, first generation home buyers, single mothers, woman led households, couples, singles and families both buying and selling their homes. Corissa is the Former Minneapolis NAACP Housing Chair, where she used her time, abilities skills of researching housing discrimination, creating paths to homeownership, assisting renters and advocating for housing policies. During COVID-19, Corissa teamed up with local policy makers, Minnesota Housing several for profit and nonprofit organizations to create Rent Help Pop Ups in North Minneapolis to help renters struggling to make rent payments during the eviction moratorium and pandemic. She was a member of NAREB, where she often volunteered her time to teach HomeStretch workshops to First time home buyers. Corissa is the CEO of Corissa Sutton Enterprises LLC is her organization that aims to support, encourage and create paths to wealth through Homeownership and Self Empowerment. The CSE Homeownership initiative ultimately aims to change the trajectory of single parent homes by supporting and uplifting single moms allowing those benefits to be reaped by the children future generations living in those homes. We partner with for profit and nonprofit organizations to stand beside moms as they work towards their dreams and goals. CSE has graduated 6 moms in December 2024. Another 7 moms are set to graduate this April 2025. Corissa also has a passion for single mothers domestic abuse survivors. She herself is a proud single mother of 4 children survivor. She continues to create programming partnerships with organizations that will assist with her business model to encourage homeownership, bridge the housing gap, provide coaching benefits that impact one parent homes and diverse communities. Corissa is a community leader, a business professional and advocate. She has a Banking Finance certification from Minneapolis Community and Technical College, additionally she holds a certification in Women's Entrepreneurship from Cornell University. When she is not working, you can find her watching True Crime shows, reading self help books and spending time with her children and grandchild.
