Corey and his wife, Laura closed their eyes and listened to the rustling of the leaves, smelled the earthy lake waters and heard the call of the loons.” Yes, this is home!” That was 5 years ago when they purchased their Park Rapids home on Eagle Lake. The Park Rapids area has been one of their favorite family vacation areas for over 40 years and the feeling of being home was immediate. They are in the perfect place because they both love the outdoors, hiking, riding bike, boating, golfing and ice cream. They also adore their dogs, Charlie and Bella and of course spending quality time with their children Tyler and McKenna. Corey and Laura were both born and raised in North Dakota and have known each other since grade school. Their relationship grew once they went to college at North Dakota State University where they both graduated. They moved all over the Midwest for various jobs and Corey continued his education with an MBA from St. Cloud University. Six years ago, they circled back around to come home to North Dakota for their two children to finish out their High School careers. They are now officially empty nesters and permanent Park Rapids residents. There was a desire to find an opportunity to work in the Park Rapids area and the family feel of Coldwell Banker Clack & Dennis was just too good to pass up.
