Business Philosophy My philosophy is simple "Always try to do the right thing for my clients." I want to be the best real estate agent any client has ever had. The way I achieve that is through strong and continual communication. I always want to provide the exact level of service any individual client wants. _ Education Mankato State University, Mankato, Minnesota Graduated 1995 (1991 – 1995) Bachelors of Science in Finance, Insurance, Real Estate _ Areas of Expertise My partner Coldwell Banker Realty and I deliver a true one-stop-shopping experience for home buyers and sellers. These services include the professional coordination of the home search, property marketing, negotiation of purchase or sale, and coordination of closing details. We also offer home financing through Guaranteed Rate Affinity, title insurance and closing through Burnet Title, rental services, and the services of NRT Insurance, and Burnet Relocation. Customers can also access Concierge services through the Home Resource Center. _ Community Involvement I spend time each week working in a mentorship program. I am paired with distressed men coming out of bad situations and having asked for help. I work with them to regain a place in their community. Every Friday since 2008 I have volunteered at my children's schools. I have done the spelling tests in a classroom 218 since 2011. In 2013 a was given the title "King of Spelling" which included a crown! I wear it proudly every Friday. Each week I volunteer at the Hennepin County Adult Detention Center where I mentor men in life skills and making better decisions. _ Personal Background I grew up in Hopkins, MN and graduated from Hopkins High School. My family has always been involved in real estate investment. For 5 years I managed an apartment complex for my parents. I bought my first duplex in 2001 and have acquired a number of properties since then. I attended the University of Minnesota out of high school but transferred to Mankato State University. My degree is in Finance, Insurance, Real Estate. Since graduation I have worked in the sales and finance fields. I spent 5 years in the mortgage business with Allied Home Mortgage in Maple Grove, MN. At the end of 2005 I saw the writing on the wall years prior to the financial collapse and made a career change. A partner and myself opened a car dealership with sales and service. I was the managing partner of Midwest Car Search until 2014 when my partner purchased my shares of the business. I decided to focus on my real estate investments. In October of 2014 we opened Landing Point Sober House for women. With some deliberation my family helped push me toward the natural fit of getting my real estate license. So in 2015 I went to school and took the state examination and am now a licensed realtor. I live in south Minneapolis with my wife and have two girls (20 & 16). My oldest is at the University of Minnesota studying Engineering and my youngest is a sophmore at Southwest High School. I love to run and have finished 5 marathons and countless other races. We often camp as a family and make it a point to do the "Chevy Chase" family vacation each summer.
