As the Branch Vice President and Managing Broker for two Coldwell Banker Realty offices, I oversee approximately 130 agents in Eagan and Rochester. As the Managing Broker, I supervise and train real estate agents and oversee daily operations of both offices. My key duties include managing agent performance, handling escalated client concerns, ensure all transactions comply with laws, assist with marketing, business development, and the financial aspects of the brokerage. I act as a central point for agent support, training, and operational/compliance oversight, ensuring the firm's success and protecting its interests. On a day to day basis, I review every legal contract that our agents secure by monitoring all transactions and brokerage activities to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local real estate laws and company's policies. I run weekly sales meetings, hold coaching sessions with agents, and answer calls from agents needing help with contracts, negotiations and deal doctoring. I handle agent-agent issues and broker-broker conflicts. I fight for my agents in the trenches and champion their efforts in the field. I get to celebrate their successes through hosting happy hours, lunches, and holiday office parties. In addition, I’ve developed and delivered a wide range of continuing education (CE) and non-CE courses for brokerages and professional organizations such as the St Paul Association of Realtors, the Mpls Association of Realtors, and the MN Association of Realtors. I’ve authored an online class for an online CE provider and worked with a production company producing an on-demand instructor lead class. In addition to my Broker’s license, I hold the Certified New Home Sales Professional designation from the National Association of Home Builders, the Graduate Realtor Institute (GRI) and Realtor Senior Advisor (RSA) designations.
