Log cabin retreat on 10 wooded acres backed up to 80 acres of Manistee National Forest. 1hr from Grand Rapids-- hunt right out your back door or fish and swim just down the road to Croton Hardy Dam. Built in 2005, this two-story log cabin offers two main-floor bedrooms, a full bath, and a large storage closet, with an open-concept living room, kitchen, and eating area anchored by a wood-burning stove. Upstairs is a spacious loft that adds flexible space for a large third bedroom, office, or entertainment area. Covered porch overlooks a very private, serene, wooded setting. Comfort features include forced-air furnace, central air, generator hookup (generator not included), spray foam insulation under the cabin for winter efficiency, and a whole-house carbon filter on the water supply. Well and septic in place, gravel driveway. Truly turn-key -- move in and start enjoying it, rent it out to cover your costs, or use it as a private hunting basecamp bordering national forest land.
