About Sheela

For over 20 years I have proudly been a resident of Northern MI, enjoying all that the area has to offer. Interests in sailing, mountain biking, hiking and skiing embrace my up-north lifestyle. As well as a little stage time in Community Civic Theater. Growing up, I spent time in Petoskey and Harbor Springs enjoying each seasons many activities. My father purchased a Bay Harbor Condo in the late 1990's bringing our growing families back to the area once again. Enjoying lake living, boating and skiing in my youth further developed my love of the water and a deep appreciation and desire to reside in a coastline community. I am a graduate of Albion College where I received a BA in Speech Communications and Human Services. After College, I immersed myself in professional opportunities that involve advising and assisting others. I worked for several years for my Alma mater as an Assistant Director of Admissions and a College Admissions and Scholarship Officer at Michigan State University (Go Green!). Additional experiences in sales, marketing and public relations helped to hone strengths in customer service and adopt the “whatever it takes” philosophy. My knowledge and love of the area combined with my attention to detail aid clients well whether you are new to the area or a long-time resident. I am a proud mother of three and reside in downtown Petoskey close to the shore of Little Traverse Bay and the Bear River.
