About James

Jim Addison is the Managing Broker for Coldwell Banker Realty, where he oversees seven offices across Michigan in Ann Arbor, Birmingham, Clarkston, Grosse Pointe, Northville, Plymouth, and Rochester. With 17 years of experience at Coldwell Banker, Jim spent the first five years as an agent and the past 12 years as a managing broker. His primary goal is to help agents live exceptional lives and achieve their financial, professional, and personal goals. Jim’s educational background includes attending Austin Catholic Prep High School, studying at Michigan State University, and graduating from Wayne State University. In addition to his professional achievements, Jim served on the Grosse Pointe Board of Realtors as a board member and was president in 2020. He was honored as Realtor of the Year in 2021 by his local board. Jim has also contributed to the Detroit Golf Club by serving on various committees, including the membership and green committees. Outside of work, Jim enjoys golfing and boating. He also has a unique hobby of growing citrus plants, reflecting his love for nature and gardening.
