Known as the "Tarbell Subdivision," the State of Maine worked in the 1970's to create privately owned waterfront lots on Mud Lake. The surveys of the lots were finished be Sewell Engineering in 1979, when ownership began! This camp was used for many years as a hunting camp, imagine 10 hunters packed into bunks & couches, happy as pigs in a poke! Over half an acre of waterfront on central Mud Lake! Handy to the other lakes in the chain like Long & Cross, nearby gas, bait, groceries, and all of the the trails for ATVs and snowmobiling!
