The Ocean View Acres neighborhood development began in the 1970's. Done in two phases, all of the land parcels in the subdivision benefit from three walking right-of-way paths to the ocean, including private Pebble Beach. The private gravel roadways are maintained collectively by the property owners through the Ocean View Acres Road Association. The annual dues are currently $300, shared by the year-round and seasonal residents.
