A Geren Personal Background Thank you for visiting my page. Before I talk about my expertise as a real estate agent, I'd like to tell you a little bit about myself. I have many interests outside of real estate that enable me to interact and network with people from all walks of life. I relocated to Maine in 1986 and fell in love with the way of life here. I have been an avid skier since 1993. My husband and I built a second home just up the road from our favorite ski resort, Sugarloaf. In the winter we ski and snowmobile and in the summer we hike and ride dirt bikes. I have been a motorcycle enthusiast since an early age and continue to enjoy riding. I graduated from Springfield College with a Bachelor of Science in Health & Fitness. I was a member of the varsity gymnastic team and competed as an all around gymnast. When I moved to Maine, I became the Portland YMCA's Fitness Director. To this day I still teach fitness classes on a part time basis. I believe in the spirit, mind & body connection. If you have a healthy mind & body, the spirit will soar! Most recently I've been competing in obstacle courses and enjoying every minute. One of my greatest achievements, and something that I am very proud to have been able to do, was donating a kidney in 2000.
