About Matt

Matt is a fourth-generation Mainer, born and raised in southern Maine. Matt has spent his career in public safety, including seventeen years in law enforcement in York County, including 12 years as a full-time officer for the Kennebunk Police Department. He is a graduate of the University of Southern Maine Community College and earned his bachelor's degree in criminology from the University of Southern Maine. Matt is dedicated to serving his community. He served four terms in the Maine House of Representatives and is currently serving the towns of Sanford, Lebanon, Acton and Waterboro in the Maine State Senate. Matt serves as a board member for the Sanford Mainers, a New England Collegiate Baseball League (NECBL) team. He is also a Freemason, Shriner with the Kora Temple, and a member of the Sanford Elks Lodge. Matt currently resides in Sanford with his wife Lauren and his two hound dogs, Bailey and Bullet. They enjoy everything southern Maine has to offer from its pristine beaches to its rugged mountains. Matt would love the opportunity to help you find the perfect place to call home.
