About Andrea

Andrea’s spent most of her life in New York, with significant time overseas in Europe and south of our border in Mexico as well. Not a year went by, however, without the requisite and extended late summer vacation on Maine's coast; finally, 10 years ago, while up here vacationing, she and her husband decided to sell their properties on the Hudson and make Maine their home, restoring an old mid-1700’s cape in the heart of Kennebunk. The region serves as new inspiration for Andrea’s many interests and passions. Along with her work as Associate Broker with Coldwell Banker Realty, she busies herself with several artistic endeavors, town committees and a grassroots environmental advocacy group she founded, the Planeteers of Southern Maine. She has a background in International Education from Columbia University Teachers College, and sees her 20+ years in real estate as a natural extension, saying one does one’s best as both educator and realtor when one really gets to know who one is working with. She takes seriously her first visit with prospective clients, because she wants to understand what motivates and drives them. After that, it becomes teamwork. When asked what about being a real estate broker she enjoys most, she’ll tell you it’s the challenge of “match-making” someone’s interest with what’s possible; Andrea takes pride in being a deep-listener, and her ability to scour what’s going on in the market accordingly, along with her creative ability to recognize opportunity - all skills that help her help clients achieve their goals.
