About Me Turns out that when you love what you do, it shows. May Shlash studied life sciences at the University of Maryland College Park and proceeded to obtain a Master’s degree in Secondary Level Education at Johns Hopkins University. Passionate about education and with encouragement from her sphere of influence, pursuing a career in real estate with Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage became a natural fit. By making an industry leap to real estate from teaching, May found a niche that highlights her professional skills. She epitomizes integrity, energy, and hard work in every detail of your real estate transaction. After having grown up in and residing in Montgomery County, Maryland for over 30 years, May knows the people, the properties, and the localized markets very well. As a lifelong resident, May can put her insider knowledge to work to find a special property in your neighborhood of choice. May was born in the Middle East and came to United States at a very early age. In doing so, she was able to effectively bridge the gap between two cultures and continues to do so with every human interaction. She knows what it means to communicate and what it takes to successfully make the buying or selling experience positive and seamless. Her approach to any interaction is to listen to you and work tirelessly on your behalf. In her spare time, May enjoys a good happy hour with friends, the sounds of a great live band, spending time with her Chin-Wa (Japanese Chin/Chihuahua mix) named Dewey, running, stand up paddle boarding, and seeking adventure in the outdoors.
