About Cheryl

Cheryl Potenza is originally from Brooklyn, NY and after working in both Hospitality and Property Management fields found her way to Ocean City, MD and eventually to The Carousel as the Condominium Office Manager. Cheryl’s passion for the customer service industry led her to study Hotel and Restaurant Management at Johnson & Wales University in Providence, RI. After graduating in 1993 with her Bachelor of Science Degree in Hotel/Restaurant Institutional Management, Cheryl’s career path took her to numerous states including Rhode Island, Washington D.C, West Virginia and Maryland. Cheryl took a break from the Hospitality Industry between 2004 and 2008 when she became the Assistant Community Manager at The Elms at Montjoy which is a 286 unit luxury apartment community in Ellicott City, MD. Cheryl joined the Carousel team in March 2016 as a Front Office Supervisor and took on the role as Condominium Office Manager in September 2016. Cheryl has 2 children and 5 grandchildren and resides in Berlin, MD with her fiancé Michael and their two dogs. Cheryl is excited to take on her new role as a licensed Real Estate professional and is looking forward to a long and successful partnership with Coldwell Banker Residential brokerage.
