My (real estate) experience: My real estate journey began in 2005. I started working as an assistant to the top agent in the Central Wisconsin MLS. I was an expert in marketing and advertising new construction, high-end homes and commercial properties like farms. When I decided to become a licensed agent; I joined a team and made my mark in the residential home sales. Eventually due to market shifts I became pretty good with foreclosures, bank owned properties and short sales. In 2010, I left real estate and joined the Oneida Tribe of Indians and worked in the social service aspect of the Housing Authority. In 2014, I moved to Maryland to be closer to family. 2017, I became a licensed agent in Maryland. 2019 I felt it was time to grow my business and I became licensed in Washington DC. Working around Prince Georges' County may have a buyer looking across the street or across the bridge into the DC market. 2020 I added Virginia license to my portfolio. I missed out on a nice deal because the buyer was looking across the bridge into the Virginia market. 2021 I decided to add the Maryland Insurance License for Title Insurance Producer Independent Contractor. This allows me to meet with people who need a Notary Signing Agent to complete a real estate closing, refinance, Home Equity Line of Credit (HELOC) or Reverse Mortgage. More about me...(the personal stuff) I have a daughter, Makiyla. She attends Anne Arundel Community College. She is on her own journey finding herself and it is wonderful to watch her grow into the lady she has become. I went to the University of Wisconsin, Stout and studied Counseling. I decided counseling was not my calling so I changed colleges and majors and graduated from Upper Iowa University in 2005 with a Bachelors in Human Services with Social Work certification. We have added a new member to our family, a Shih-Poo. His name is Mello because he is so chill. He is very smart and brought so much joy and love into our home. Why Coldwell Banker Realty?
